All I want is to do is to finish my Clapotis

If there's anything I hate, it's running out of yarn when the thing I've started is meant only as a between-other-more-serious-stuff projects and should be finished within days. The Clapotis I started last weekend progressed rather well until I saw the end of the fifth ball of yarn approaching on Wednesday... which meant that I had to find a Rowan distributor here in Belgium. (Those first five balls weren't bought here, I've just kept schtum about my recent adventures, hihi.)

It all started very well. A friend of mine needed a ride to Leuven, just outside of Brussels, where she wanted to raid a sports equipment shop while I'd visit a yarn shop, buy the necessary three balls of Tapestry and nothing else. My place is full of yarn as it is, there's a long list of things to finish before Christmas, not to mention all the "almost ready" pieces of work, just waiting to be blocked or sewn together. So really, I WAS determined to come home with maximum 200 grams of Tapestry, nothing else. And I did, look!

Here we are, 4 x 16.50 grams of Rowan's Tapestry, in "Rustic".
Well, to be completely honest with you, I bought some Swiss alpaca yarn as well.

The same again, four balls of Rustic, each weighing 16.50 grams.
Yeah, right. These were either novelty yarns or on sale, and I chose them simply because of their name - the word "Print" is in all of them.

And I was so lucky to come across some of Rowan's Tapestry on sale, these little beauties here. Five times 16.50 grams.
Who could resist buying, when the price is 1 euro / ball? Some Italian yarn called "Fashion Multi".

But then I wasn't sure whether I had enough, so I bought three more balls of it. So, altogether I bought 12 balls of it, and now I can finish my Clapo. Just you wait and see.
Yes, you've seen all this before. It's Online's Solo 194 and I've got some crazy plans waiting...

Lana Grossa's Stella Print

Lana Grossa's Binario Print.

Lana Grossa's Piccolo Print.

And finally, Lang's Twin Color Print.

Oh, despite what you might think, this wasn't produced by little Suri Cruise but little old me. Dyed some wool so that I could spin a bit more of green yarn before finally starting to ply it. The pressure is on. So far I've never even tried plying and the treshold to start doing it is quite hard to get over.
