Finally! Mission accomplished.
On the very last day I managed to crawl into one of the shops I'd seen earlier and so I bought these: two hanks of 100 % wool, 300 meters in each, price 3200 SIT (roughly 13,5€). I think the yarn will felt nicely, and even though I like the basic colour, I might even splash them with some extra dye. Just you wait!
