- Knitting has come to me quite naturally. Our whole family does something with their hands (knitting, crocheting, cross stitching), even my father has knitted himself mittens when he was only a boy. At the moment I'm really lucky, living in Central Europe and having a relatively easy access to German, French and British yarns. And that shows in my flat. I really enjoy all the different colours and the structures of the yarns and am always trying some new stuff, techniques, patterns. And this may sound like a cliché, but for me knitting is a journey, you never know what you're going to encounter on the way. Love the experience; whether I finish a garment or not is irrelevant.

Määenehkäala. Tuo on ehkä ihasen ihkumpi kuin mun ilmapallohuivi. Mikäs VK tämän tarjoili?
Käännän vielä puikkoa haavassa: kuva ei tee sille oikeutta. Oli vaan niin olmin näköinen vaalealla pohjalla kuvattuna, että vaihdoin alustaa.
Tää on jostain vanhasta VK:sta, oisko jotain Millennium-juttuja vuodelta 1999. Tarkistan kun malli tulee joskus vastaan. Lanka puolestaan on luonnonvalkoista ohutta mohairia, joka ei kutita. R. voi tämän lukiessaan intoutua kehumaan lisää.

Sophie, apparently it is - I only remembered that I'd found the pattern in an old Vogue Knitting and bought some thin white mohair yarn in a Veritas shop here in Brussels. We were just discussing the Interlocking balloons pattern in Kirsi's blog and came into the conclusion that this sort of patterns are addictive.
In my humble opinion: go for it!
