Sitten toinen jutska, johon liittyy harmaantuva herrasmies. Belgian uutisissa näytettiin Richard Gereä ja sanottiin, että se oli tullut Brysseliin avaamaan valokuvanäyttelyään. Missä? MISSÄ? Uutispätkässä ei sanottu sen tarkemmin, mihin näyttely oli tulossa. Meinasin jo soittaa tv-asemalle ja pitää niille pienen luennon journalismin perusteista. No, näyttelyn ennakkotiedot löytyi sitten paikallisesta lehdestä. Tänne mä menen aivan varmasti, vaikka sitten pää kainalossa – onneks on hyvin aikaa, ihan lähiviikkoina en tuonne galleriaan ehdi.

Then another matter involving a grey-haired gentleman. Just the other day as I was watching the news, they showed a glimpse of Richard Gere and said that he’d come to Brussels to open his photo exhibition. Where? WHERE? They didn’t give any details and I was just about to call that tv station and tell them something about the basics of journalism. It turned out that the exhibition is not yet open to the public but it will be open til September. Good, since I wouldn’t have time to go there in the near future – but I WILL visit the gallery for sure. Wild horses couldn’t keep me away.
